The Reality of Leaving

I'm scared because this time next year I'll be in a completely different place with new friends away from my family and absolutely everything I am used to. In reality, I'll have a new home. Don't get me wrong I'm excited beyond belief, but I'm also extremely nervous. I guess the reason that I am nervous is because I do not like change. But I know I need a change. I need a change because I feel stuck. I feel that I'm always doing the same things over and over again and I need a new place where I can grow. I know that the school I will be attending is the perfect place for me, and I know I will be so happy there. I guess the thing that I am most nervous about is coming back to my hometown and feeling different. I'm scared that I'll come home and feel like I don't belong. But maybe that is not a bad thing, maybe I need to grow up and develop into my own person and not be defined by where I live. But I feel like my emotions have me living in a contradiction. I know I need change, but I'm scared of change. I'm excited but I'm nervous. I guess that is just the reality of the unknown. You just have to have faith and trust that good things will happen for you. Because while the unknown is scary it is also very exciting.
What are your guys experiences with having to leave for college? Were you this nervous or am I just over thinking this all?

Game Day Ready... No Matter the Forecast

Hi guys! I hope all of you east coasters are surviving this winter storm and staying nice and warm! Here in Georgia, we only got an inch of snow which served as the perfect amount to set a snowy backdrop for these photos. With the NFL playoffs and Super Bowl coming up, I thought it was a perfect fit. I know everyone needs some inspiration for what to wear toward the end of the season, as you've worn all your favorites multiple times. Though I'm not a huge NFL football fan, how perfect would this outfit be for a New Orleans Saints game! I received this dress for Christmas because it matches the college I will be attending next years colors perfectly. It is from Shop Monday Dress and oh my gosh it is just too perfect! I'm so excited to wear it to Wake Forest football and basketball games next year. A fun dress in your teams colors paired with leggings and riding boots is the perfect way to support your team while still looking super cute! If you need to buy tickets to cheer on your favorite team check out TickPick, a great resource for finding NFL game day tickets!
Leggings: Classic Shapewear- They are fleece lined and oh so warm!
Boots: Gap Outlet (Similar)

I hope you guys enjoyed this outfit post! Make sure to check out TickPick next time you need tickets, they make the perfect gift for any guy in your life! Let me know what you love to wear on game days and what team you are supporting!

What's on My Wishlist- January

I did a what's on my wishlist post back in November and I decided to do an updated one for January! I was fortunate enough to get a lot of the stuff on my November wishlist for Christmas, so I thought it was the perfect time to post some new things. Be warned I have a lot of shoes on my wishlist right now, because I want to get some nice quality flats before I head off to college in the fall!
Pajamas: I am in desperate need of some new long sleeve pajamas. I love pajama sets and this one from LL Bean is just too cute. I love how classic it is, and how cute would it be with a monogram on the pocket!
Bracelet: I love this bracelet! I got some Alex and Ani bracelets for Christmas and I think this bracelet would look so cute with them or just on its own. Plus it is my favorite quote and a great reminder towards the end of my senior year of high school and into college.
Necklace: My monogram necklace broke because it was not very good quality. So I hope to invest in a nice one that I can wear all the time because I feel that it is a jewelry staple that I am lacking!
Booties: I have never been a fan of booties, but I found this adorable pair from Jack Rogers and I just fell in love. I love the color and the scallop detailing is to die for!
Sandals: My platinum Jack Rogers broke at the end of summer, and I would really like to get a new pair of Palm Beach sandals this time. I got two pairs of fun colored Palm Beach Sandals for Christmas, but I need to get a solid colored metallic pair before this upcoming spring and I am leading toward the gold color.
I really want a metallic pair of flats, but I can not decide if I want to go with the platinum or gold flats. I have really been loving gold lately, but the platinum just seems more classic and like it will go with more. Let me know what you guys think? Which would you choose?

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Please share with me what is on your wishlist this month! Obviously, I am not planning on buying all these things this month; I may not ever buy them, but I think it is fun to share with you guys the things that I am loving!

Monthly, Weekly, and Yearly Goals for 2016

I love setting goals, and I find that the New Year always serves as a great time to set some new goals and reevaluate my life. I'm so excited for this year as I graduate in June and will start college at my dream school in August! I know there are so many great memories to come in my last semester of high school and my first semester of college, and I'm so excited to experience them all. I thought I would share with you all my goals for this year!

I know to some of you guys these goals may seem like nothing, but I like to set attainable goals and slowly work up to making them more challenging. I'm going to have a big switch in my life when I go to college, so I will reevaluate my goals at that point. Many of my goals only serve a purpose while I am living at home, but may turn into different goals when I move out. I love hearing other people's goals, so leave a comment letting me know your goals!

Here's to a great new year!
